Stefan Bouzarovski

Professor Stefan Bouzarovski is a geographer at the University of Manchester and, before that, at the University of Birmingham.

He is a world-leading expert in energy and urban policy, the author of the critically-acclaimed research monograph Energy Poverty in Eastern Europe and an advisor to a range of European governments, as well as the European Commission.

One of the participating scientists at the New Optimists Forum on 12th July 2012, he’s well-placed to say how a distributed energy supply system could benefit, even be a game-changer for Birmingham and other cities.
