The New Optimists out in the world . . .
Now people are reading The New Optimists, word is getting out about it.
Marc Reeves tweeted ”Yep – just been flicking through. The foreword and introduction alone are inspirational!” Gisela Stuart MP, who’s organising a review in The House Magazine (the Commons mag) tweeted “reading “the new optimists” put together by Kate Cooper – scientists view of tomorrow. fascinating and encouraging”
And thank you, Alex Jones who wrote about it in Created in Birmingham and Oliver Nicholls did likewise in the WMRO blog. And thanks, too, to Nick Booth who in the podnosh blog, described his first meeting with me; he thought yeh-yeh . . . as did Sarah Gee . . . before rapid eating of words in response to “this brilliant book“! Nick’s blog post was picked up by Public Sector Bloggers (@PubSecBloggers) among many others.
Thanks, too, to rocketeers.co.uk, for a blog which included an extensive quotation from Jenny Uglow’s wonderful Foreword and a listing of the launch dinner on 14th September. Both Medilink and Alvolution have listed it too. (If the event proves as much fun as the planning of it, it’ll be a cracker of an evening!)
We’ve already sent out several review copies. More go out next week. We’ll be posting here about what they’re saying and where they’re saying it. (If we’ve missed you out and you’d like a review copy, please let me know at kate.cooper[at]newoptimists.com).
